CSI, Inc. performs all of our Biological Safety Cabinet Certification services on-site at your facility according to the demanding requirements of NSF/ANSI 49-2004a Annex-F or to the Manufacturer's specs.
Typical testing includes:
Downflow Velocity - to ensure that the proper amount of laminar air is being provided to your BSC.
Inflow Velocity - to ensure that the proper amount of air is being drawn across the face of your BSC in order to protect product and operator from each other.
Filter Integrity (Leak Scan) Testing - to ensure that the air supplied to your BSC is as particle free as intended and/or that the air being exhausted from the BSC is free from contaminates.
Non-Viable Airborne Particle Concentration - to ensure that your BSC is meeting a level of cleanliness, provided in both ISO & FS209 classification formats.
Site Installation Assessment Tests - to ensure that your BSC is installed in a location that will reduce the chance of cross contamination.
