Laboratory Fume Hood Certification/ASHRAE-110 Testing

CSI, Inc. performs all of our Laboratory Fume Hood Certification services on-site at your facility according to the demanding requirements ofASHRAE-110 or to the Manufacturer’s specs.

Typical testing includes:

• Face Velocity – to ensure that the proper amount of air is being drawn through the face of your device.

• Flow Visualization – to ensure that there are no airflow back drafts or containment breaches, using smoke to visually qualify.

• Tracer Gas Testing – to ensure that there are no airflow back drafts or containment breaches, using a mannequin and tracer gas to accurately quantify.
